Rimshots and ghost notes, in particular, benefit from the sensitive response and high dynamic range of the shell.
The combination of a high-quality die-cast hoop on the batter side and a Steel Mighty Hoop on the resonant side ensures precise tuning, focused sound, and excellent projection. Together with the Tama MS20SN14S snare wires, this results in a defined, articulate sound with plenty of character and punch.
