Tama Stewart Copeland SD 14x5 Snare Drum - silver

Product description

The Tama Stewart Copeland Signature snare drum combines the legendary sound of the Police drummer with high-quality craftsmanship and exceptional dynamics. With its 1.5 mm thick brass shell and compact design... 14" x 5" The construction of this signature snare drum delivers a brilliant, assertive sound with fast response and precise attack.

The brass shell produces a warm fundamental tone with clear highs and controlled overtones. This makes the snare drum ideally suited for a wide range of musical styles, from rock and pop to reggae, funk, and modern fusion sounds. Rimshots and ghost notes, in particular, benefit from the sensitive response and high dynamic range of the shell.

The combination of a high-quality die-cast hoop on the batter side and a Steel Mighty Hoop on the resonant side ensures precise tuning, focused sound, and excellent projection. Together with the Tama MS20SN14S snare wires, this results in a defined, articulate sound with plenty of character and punch.
